We started this page site so that you can read about the experiences of other seniors that have applied for and gotten a reverse mortgage. We began posting these references in March of 2009 and will be adding more references as time goes on.
Dear Dan and Rory We want to express our appreciation for all the work you did to obtain our new reverse mortgage. Your effort to make this happen at a acrucial time was fantastic! Your knowledge and follow through really was important inputting this loan together. You both are delightful to work with and we would not hesitate in referring anyone to you for their reverse mortgage! Dan and Rory are the most knowledgeable people in the reverse mortgage business. I was dealing with another firm for two months still had not had first face to face meeting a good friend of mine told me about Dan and how good he was so I called him and the next day Dan and Rory were at my house 100 miles away with everything needed to get started.They made the hold process painless. Due to my Reverse Mortgage, which you two so expertly guided me through, I was able to quit my part time job at 75 and begin a whole new life. I would never have been able to attend a Christian Writer’s Conference in CA without that extra income. While there I met a rep with Guideposts Magazine, since then becoming a now and then contributor. I also have a new book out which I co-wrote with Darrell New Plenty Stars (a Lakota Sioux from SD’s Pine Ridge Indian Rez), titled: From the Flames of Wounded Knee to the Center of God’s Will. None of this would have been possible without the added income my Reverse Mortgage provided after having used much of my saving while taking care of my Alzheimer's stricken husband. How does a 77 year old widow say thank you for helping her start a whole new and exciting life?

Dear Dan and Rory, As you know, I started building my house here on the Oregon Coast just three years ago, and as is the case, more often than not, it ran over budget and left me with a mortgage I could not really afford. I took my social security at 62 and have been working part time jobs to supplement that. But, I'm not the spring chicken I used to be and knew that I would have to resolve the mortgage problem. As I sat quietly one evening, Reverse Mortgage came into my mind. I had some very negative impressions about RM from friends many years ago. I decided to do some internet research and found many sites that explained the "product" and the fact that the laws had been established by HUD to protect seniors. There was no negative reason why I shouldn't get a RM. Elderloan.com looked like the most straight forward and honest site I found. And, you were relatively close, 90 miles. I was surprised and pleased that you actually made the trip, but then, who wouldn't want to make a trip to the coast? You made the process personable and efficient and I do feel that I have made new friends. Anytime I talk about RM to my friends, I tell them I know capable, honest people that can help them. And, the best part; I can breathe again and stay in my home that I created for my heaven on earth. And, I am going to take my first cruise of my life in July. When we first contemplated a reverse mortgage we spoke with five different lending institutions. There was not one person that was more knowledgeable than you. Your concern for our interests was absolutely outstanding. We felt like we were doing business with a friend rather than an institution. Doing business with you has been like doing business the old fashioned way. Your personal attention, professionalism and prompt response to all of our questions, combined with excellent follow through had made these transactions almost effortless.
