Meet Your Loan Officer

Dan Clark Hello Seniors,

I always want to know a bit about the person that I am talking to when I am doing business with someone. So here is some information regarding myself.

I was born and raised in Hillsboro Or. I went to Portland State University and graduated in 1967. My parents are still both alive. They are both 87 years old and live south of Hillsboro. Quite a lot of what I know about seniors I have learned from them. Things like what is a “notch baby”, and what it is like to live on social security.

I am 61 years old myself and so I consider myself to be a “junior senior”. Old enough to be a member of AARP but still too young to collect social security.

I was trained originally as a social worker and worked for Multnomah County for 10 years before going into private business. Now I specialize in reverse mortgages and enjoy it so much that I will likely continue to work with seniors into my own retirement.

I have heard it said that you own your face once you reach 50 years of age, meaning that your personality and character show in the way that you look. I am not certain that this is true, but for what it is worth, here is a picture of me.

If you decide to have me help you with a mortgage, I promise that you will be treated with respect and honesty. I always feel that good Oregon courtesy should prevail, and so if you give me your phone number or invite me to your home, I will treat it as a privilege and you will never have reason to be sorry that you are working with me on a mortgage.

I hope that I get the chance to meet you and help you with your financial well-being.
